anyone else’s 9 month old only have one tooth? my niece is 6 months and has two teeth. my son is breastfed and she’s formula fed (nothing wrong with that) but could that be why ?
That’s probably not the reason. My son is BF & is 10 months, just broke the 2nd bottom tooth through. I think it just depends on the child.
Every child is different. I have twins. One twin had 4 teeth at 6 months, the other only had 2. Both bottle fed. They didn’t hit a single milestone at the same time. Don’t compare your child to others.
No, teeth come when they are ready, Some babies are born with teeth. Usually first tooth comes in 4-7 months but could be later, then one right next to it and then about 2 months later the top two.

My daughter didn’t get any teeth until she was 15 months. She just gummed the crap out of everything and it took her longer to lose her baby teeth.
All babies teeth come when they are ready. I was always told if they get teeth too early they will have problems when they get older. My son is 10 now and still have baby teeth. I was told also I still have baby teeth. I’m 35 now.
My granddaughters both had 5 or more at 6 months…has nothing to do with anything. My daughter also cut teeth at 3 months noone believed me, now both my granddaughters cut them at 3 months. Ask your mom if you can when you cut yours.
My oldest son didn’t get his first tooth until his first birthday but my daughter had 4 at 6mo. It all just depends on when they are ready.
Our little girl got her first teeth at 1. I don’t think it’s a problem.
My daughter is strictly breastfed. She barely started getting her first tooth. Shes almost 10 months
My daughter will be 1 next week and she has a mouth full of teeth including molars I think it’s just based off of when they come in
My daughter’s first tooth didn’t break through until the day after her first birthday
All three of my kids got their first tooth at 1. It’s perfectly normal

All 4 if my kids cut teeth at different ages. All kids are different
Nothing at all , kids all develop at their own pace , 2 of my 4 never got a tooth until 11 monthes the otjer two , , one was 5 monthes other was 7., Nothing to worry about
My baby had NO teeth until he was 16 months. He had 2 pop then another 2 a couple months later and then another 4 pop at 20 months. They’re all on their own time frame
