My daughter is a month old and is breastfed. For a couple weeks maybe, she’s spitting up after every feeding. Sometimes more than once, and then instantly gets the hiccups. Sometimes it’s a little, but lately it’s a lot. Soaking mine and her clothes. Is this a PCP concern or take to urgent care? My first never went through this.
She needs to be seen. Sooner than later. If she is throwing up, there’s risk of her not getting enough food in her system.
Also, examine what you’re eating or taking. It could be something coming from you. (No not on purpose. It could be as simple as an allergy to a food right now.)
What goes in the mom comes out in the breast milk.
Have u tried burping between each breast change currently goin threw this could possibly b reflux 2
Could be mom’s diet. All kids spit up. There’s a difference between spitting up & throwing up
My 2nd did this. The pediatrician said if he is gaining weight, it’s likely just that his “flap” didn’t develop yet that keeps his food down. I inquired and was concerned also. I think it’s always best to check because there’s more to this. How is baby’s overall demeanor, is there color to it, etc as they could have an allergy or other issues. Also, I have an aggressive let down and major over supply. Lots of factors that could contribute.
Could be allergic to formula. My daughter had to be on soy milk. She had like acid reflux and was given Zantac. You need to contact your pediatrician.
Are you burping her? Take her to the dr but burp her by patting her little back after each feeding
