I’m having sharp pains on my c section scar as the gestational sac has implanted to my scar tissue. I’m very scared and dunno what to do. I’m only 5ws 6 days my next OB appointment isn’t till August 5th I’m scared something is wrong. I went to the ER and they told me since the baby attached itself to my scar it’s an unusual place to be, so what does that mean?? This will be my 5th baby via c section
I’ve never heard of anyone having 5 c sections before that’s a little wild to me but absolutely no judgement I would call your obgyn & see if there isn’t a sooner appointment you can get since you’ve been to the er & know what you do now, unfortunately google gave me some information but to me sounds life threatening since ( copied from google) (The scar tissue isn’t as strong as the uterine wall and can tear, which can lead to heavy bleeding (hemorrhage) ).
I hope you have nothing of the sorts & hopefully the er was wrong because they aren’t trained in ultrasounds that well.
She’s going to be a stubborn lil girl hopefully you’ll be ok
Call you doctor and get in to see them this weekend. Every body and every pregnancy is different.
I know someone who had to have a hysterectomy because of this same thing. She made it to about 12 weeks and they told her it was close to ruptering. So either youll be high risk because of the risk it poses to you and baby. Or they may reccomend abortion.
Stop asking medical questions on face
MMM that doesn’t sound right at all. For the gestation sac to be attached to your scar it would have to be floating around outside the uterus. I feel like you might be referring to scar adhesions. That is painful and uncomfortable for sure. I had to go to physiotherapy so that I could return to exercising.
Go to L&D. The ER isn’t equipped to check you.
If you choose to wait until Monday, REST. Stay hydrated. Keep notes on the pain. How bad is it, time, does anything help, etc. Have it for the DR.
I’ve had 3 previous c sections and got pregnant a 4th time and had to have a hysterectomy I was about 8 weeks along. Sounds very similar to what I experienced it’s called caesarean scar ectopic pregnancy. I started experiencing bad cramps and had to have emergency surgery. I wish you the very best but I would call your doctor or go to the hospital because it can rupture your uterus.
Your obgyn has a emergency line I would call immediately. This is a form of an ectopic pregnancy and can hemorrhage as the scar tissue isn’t as strong as your uterine wall.
I had 4 c-sections and every one was different. It is important to figure this out quickly as you feel something isnr right. Trust your instincts. Praying for you and baby.
