My daughter has been sick since March...advice?

Please help! My little girl has been sick seems March. We finally have an appointment with the ear nose and throat doctor but it’s not til February. How can I get her to breathe? We’ve tried all kinds of colds meds and use lots of ducks. She’s almost 5.

Go to Walmart get vaper shower bars? Put in shower let room steam, put her on a blanket on floor let her play and breath in vapers. It’s all natural and should work wonders to open her up to breath.

My daughter was sick constantly for almost 2 years of her life. Couldn’t figure out why. We ended up cutting regular drinking milk from her diet and now she’s rarely sick. Milk is know to clog some of the throat and nose ducts and give them cold like symptoms. I’d try that as well until you get her to the doctor.

Put her in the bathroom and let the hot water run to full the bathroom full of steam. It helps.

Did she start daycare in march?

It must be something in the house. If you have carpet get rid of it.

I’d find another Dr and get her seen sooner even if it’s an ER visit, I agree with having the home checked for mold, I was in a house that had mold and had no idea till the living room ceiling literally fell through, my son had seen a Dr 12xs in 3 months, we were all sick and it was because of the mold hidden in the ceiling

Urgent care even if I had no insurance or extra cash. My parents let me suffer too long at that age until the school stepped in and told them to get me help. That was many years ago but I still remember a lot of it. Do not know what ducks mean and we raised 4 daughters and have 14 grands

Sick in March February is before March

Should ducks be Vicks?
Has she had allergy testing?
If she’s struggling to breathe, best action would be hospital emergency department.

I’m not sure what “ducks” was meant to be  but I would probably take her into urgent care (or the ER?) in the mean time if she’s struggling to breath for something to help because that is very concerning. Also, ask to be put on a cancellation list for the specialist so you can be seen earlier if possible.

Is she struggling to breathe…
Or is she struggling to breathe through her nose?
Those are two very different things.
If she’s struggling to breathe then you should take her to urgent care or the ER.

If she’s struggling to breathe through her nose because she’s so stuffy…
Make sure she’s well hydrated
Kid’s flonase
Steam
W
Peppermint and/or cinnamon disks

Have your house and her tested for mold. Check her cups. All dishes. Toys. Bath toys. Windows. Walls. Mold is a huge thing right in front of our faces that not many realize.

Could be a food allergy. Have her tested.

Get your home checked for mold! I would work with a naturopath to get blood work done.

Dose she sit in a tablet a lot? Looking down rub her upper back between her shoulder blades you may think I’m crazy but I’m going through the same thing my sinuses are crazy and I have vertigo so I went to physical therapy and by God I was amazed look it up there is a video on YouTube I believe it

The only solution the Dr will tell you is to have Tonsils removed. I was the same at age 5.

Give her Vitamin C, they have gummies for it. We give my daughter vitamin c daily. Shes about to be 4, been giving her the adult vitamin c gummies since she was 2 and had Covid. Vitamin c won’t hurt her or poison her.

Jesus is her SURGEON. Amene. Be sure to thank Jesus for her deliverance and.miracle healing Amene

If the Doctor knows the condition of your child then you need to find another Doctor. She needs to be able to breath Check her oxygen levels. Maybe go to a Medical place to have her checked. Not the ER because obviously it’s not a real emergency since the Doctor doesn’t do a lot about it. She needs to see a specialist soon

Request an RX for a nebulizer. Most insurances cover the cost and open the airway. Not advisable to do any closer than an hour from bedtime because it causes a spike in heart rate and makes munchkins super hyper. But works like a charm to open the airway.

Mullein tea is a great natural herb that help respiratory issues.

Def get her checked for allergens and then allergy clean your home. All the bedding gets washed on hot, new pillows, air purifiers, possibly get those ducts cleaned, have the carpets/rugs upholstery cleaned, wash window stuff, and put a waterproof mattress protector on her bed. Look at all of your walls, ceilings and floors/moldings for any type of water damage. The paint could be bubbling or peeling.

Keep track of symptoms daily. Notate if they’re worse in the morning, after showering, being outside and esp after eating.
