My daughter (4) struggles with constipation, we are trying to get her bowels regulated. I wanted to start her on probiotics as well

I start fermenting kombucha, milk kefir and water kefir due to my 8 year old and me being constipated. I love drinking it everyday and I make my daughter drink it, she doesn’t like it but I make her to drink like 4-5 sips once or twice a day. That helped a lot. Now she complains that she is pooping a lot and I like that’s good. She doesn’t like it but it works

Talk to your Dr. Not going every day is normal

Fresh fruits (fiber!) - apples, watermelon, etc and make sure she is drinking enough and not dehydrated…of course your Dr should be able to give specific advice knowing your daughter but those two thjngs-water and fiber are needed to stay regular

Chamomile tea! Has always worked wonders for my kids when they’re bound up

Try making a set time to have her try everyday and it may become routine to her body. I learned that from a pediatric gastrointestinal doctor when my son had the same issue. We did the same thing with my daughter and added a daily kids probiotic at the suggestion of her pediatrician

These helped My daughter tremendously and increased her water intake

Cut back on milk if she’s a big milk drinker. Also vitamins can cause constipation from too much iron. Increase water intake.

Look up
chocolate zucchini bread recipe.
Add 1/2 a grated raw carrot to the recipe batter.
Bake in a mini muffin tin.

Give her one at dinner and one at breakfast ~
No more unless she hasn’t gone by then.

Delicious ~ and acts like dynamite for little kids. :sunglasses:

Prunes juice .
Actually prunes.
Everything with fiber.
My daughter ( now almost 16)
Had it BAD til she was like 13.
and when she did go…HUGE. Bigger than a grown man.

Fruit, and yogurt. Yogurt helps with gut health a fruit is great for fiber, plus drink plenty of water!

My little takes fiber gummies

I was told any fruit that starts with a “P” can help regulate bowels. My pediatrician told me that for my little one. Also miralax or benefiber something along those lines can really help too make it part of you’re daily routine make sure she takes it everyday in the morning or around lunchtime or supper time. Same time everyday.
