HELP tired mom here and don’t know what to do. The daughters’ sleep schedule is backward. Like a vampire. Sleeps all day stays up all night due to medicine she was previously on. It’s going to bed at 6 am and waking up at 5 pm. Today she went to bed at 7 am, and I woke her up at 2. (Per pediatrician, to start decreasing the hrs slowing) . She’s falling asleep sitting up, wherever she can—not wanting to eat until later at night. I need some helpful tips please, to get things back on track!!! I’ve tried waking her up early twice before and same thing.
Try not 2 worry, lockdown has messed up a lot of kids sleep patterns. Try if possible to get her to bed an hour earlier, maybe cuddle her 2 sleep so she goes? And just keep gettin up a lil bit earlier with her every day, its hard, i have had the same issues. Baby steps hun, dont be 2 hard on urself, its a crazy time 4 us all. Just keep tryin to get her to sleep half hour earlier every time, and keep her occupied as much as poss when she wakes. I know its hard, no judgement here xxx
