My fiance has never complained about my cooking. In fact we both cook together. He was in a drunk driving accident when I was 7 months pregnant so he lost his job as a truck driver. So…he wanted to stay home with our son instead of putting him in daycare. I had to go back to work 5 weeks after I gave birth. One night I came home and he was holding our son and started saying, "My fiance can’t cook… Then looked at our baby and said, “Well Daddy maybe you should find a fiance who can cook?” It honestly hurt my feelings and made me mad at the same time. What do you think?
I would probably feel hurt and defensive too. Personally I would just let him take over the cooking from now on if he doesn’t like yours.
