My newborn has been waking up a lot

My newborn has been waking up every 45min-1hr the past two nights to feed. He was good waking up every 2-3 hours the first night but the second and third night he was hardly sleeping at night, was refusing the bassinet and just wanted to eat.

He’s hungry. Whatever you do don’t give your baby cow’s milk. Put some blended puréed avocado sweet potatoes or bananas in his breastmilk my baby loves it and never woke up. She did super with it. If a newborn baby can drink another animals milk they can eat a vegetable that God made which is made of water and earth. It worked for my baby and if you other bs don’t like my advice talk to God feeding babyish cows milk but purée vegetables are bad. You’re wrong and need to educate yourselves.

My 2 week old is doing the same (I’m assuming yours is pretty young based off of you saying newborn), my other two did the same as well around this time. It’s just a phase and it passes, they’re still getting used to being outside of the womb and sometimes go through a cluster feeding phase due to it. Sending you lots of love and patience

He’s hungry, going thru a growth spurt, & missing the womb. Feed him & swaddle him & let him hear your heartbeat. It’s all he’s ever known.

Perfectly normal. It’s definitely a growth spurt which is why he’s hungry and if I remember correctly it’s called cluster feeding is what he’s doing.

I was told by the lactation specialist & pediatrician. If baby fall asleep eating & waking up within 45 minutes. Wake them up as they fall asleep & encourage them to eat more. Sleeping~ put your recently warned shirt in under swaddled baby in bassenet & a heart beat noise thing. It should help, GOOD LUCK

It’s called cluster feeding. And it is actually beneficial to your milk supply. It happens as a brand new baby, and again right before a growth spurt, which also triggers your body to increase milks production.

Unfortunately this is normal for cluster feeding. Both my boys wanted to feed every hour to hour and a half around the clock for the first 4 months

Very normal cluster feeding. Very important for your body to produce more milk. Feed on demand

Maybe he didn’t get enough milk and is stil hungry

No sh** that’s what a newborn baby does. Feed him or her and stop acting like a coward. Was bearly born and already complaining. Good luck to you :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::clown_face::clown_face::clown_face::clown_face:

Completely normal growing and cluster feeding. formula fed and nursing babies cluster

His formula is not holding him longer. Sprinkle a spoonful of rice or oat baby cereal into his night feeding. I raise six and know what im talking about. It will not hurt the baby.
