My period us heavier after my tubal: Advice?

Any ladies have issues with periods being terrible after a tubal ??? I’m spotting for like two weeks then having a regular period. Then back to spotting dark brown. I can’t take it anymore. Had my tubal November of 2021. Doctor acts like that’s just how it is. She recommended going back on the pill which defeats the whole purpose of getting my tubes tied.

I had the same issue. Ended up having a hysterectomy 7 years later. They just kept getting worse and worse. I’m sorry you are going through this. Best advice find a gynecologist that listens and helps you figure out treatment. I was on a medication for 2 years to completely stop my period it was a relief.

I had this issue and had an ablation back in Sept. 2022 and other than some mild spotting I haven’t had an issue yet

Find a “board certified specialist ask to be seen as an emergency “ then sue that uncaring clown doctor . A MAN knows you are in trouble.

Could be a cyst on your ovary

I had the same issue. I now have an iud to help.

I had the same thing happen. Ended up having a uterine ablation which helped with the heaviness… but I still spotted for 3 weeks and then a week off. Now I’m back on birth control. Ugh.

Nothing they can do about it. When I got my tubal ligation, it made my periods a thousand times worse. I get nauseated a week before my period comes and I get excruciating menstrual cramps now. It even gets bad to the point where I will bleed through a heavy duty tampon within 45 minutes. And there’s basically nothing that can be done about it.

Post tubal ligation syndrome. My mom had it bad and there wasn’t anything anyone could do. Doctors never talk about the risks.

Did you get the covid shot?

I had the same issue. I’ve been back on the pill for 4-5 years and don’t have periods now. Wish they would just take all my stuff out

This is what happened to me and my uterus was prolapsed as well, both caused severe pain, so had a hysterectomy. Best decision ever.

Same here, hysterectomy 10 yrs later. See if they will do an ablation, sometimes it will stop your period or at least slow it down

I had an ablation. Stopped it all

I am 8 weeks pp, third baby, all three a c section and this last one I got a tubal, I just started my period 3 days ago and it came back with the vengeance, I’ve always had heavy periods but this one is insane, at my six week checkout my obgyn who is a female said it might be rough.

Yup. Went back on the pull in October, so much better since I started it. If I had known this would happen, I would have never gotten my tubes tied. But at least if my pills get screwed up, I won’t get pregnant this time…

Got tubal after 2nd c section in 2019 (3rd baby) … 2021 had partial hysterectomy due to age only have ovaries but no more bleeding not as much pain… they did find endometriosis in the muscle of my cervix and uterus. Best of luck

This is a common side effect your doctor should have forewarned you about. My doctor stressed the possibility of intense periods.

I have the same issues going on 4 years it’s brutal
