My 14yo son is beginning this behavior and is immediately being corrected because where maybe it’s funny with teen boys, he’ll be respectful at home and excuse himself when possible. It’s normal and natural to fart and harmful to hold in, but going out of his way to be silly or lazy or rude isn’t okay. Especially if it’s bothering you.
I would talk him about taking some Beano and if he doesn’t I would buy him some of those fart pads

Acidophilus supplements, the gas is probably from a milk based protein thats not breaking down well enough, and Acidophilus will help him stop farting so much. That’s a guy for you. Between my husband and five boys, I didn’t stand a chance at a fresh smelling house. Now they are grown and still come here and let loose. They don’t care who’s here or where we are or if we are eating. They all lift their leg and do it. Then look around like it wasn’t them.

My fiance is the same and iy used to totally turn me off and make me soo angry then i realized I wasn’t doing anything but sabotaging my relationship, most men are this way I just had to learn to tune it out and overlook it . I’m sorry ladies if he doesn’t have the damn common decency to excuse himself to pass gas while people are eating his mother failed teaching him manners. That’s wrong on so many levels. I personally cannot tolerate someone that’s so vulgar. Thats why I’ve been divorced since 2002. And remain single. It wouldn’t be Beano that I snuck into his food. His lack of consideration and uncouth ways would make him reconsider his behavior. He would find his ass on the toilet 24/7 . In my house you act like you have some type of manners. My kids know better . Every one is saying flatulence is normal , yes it is but not at the kitchen table , or at the dinner table or when your eating, and if you need to pass gas go to the bathroom or outside. It’s normal to farts but check what foods he’s eating which could be making this sort of gas. I suffer from ibs and my gas sometimes would knock over a elephant. My fiance passed out one day cause of my farts.

Sounds like he has a stomach problem or food intolerance.
Tell him to see a doctor as there is something wrong with his system… probably he is on wrong diet, or should stop drinking milk, he maybe lactose intolerant… but he seriously needs to see a doctor .
My husband isn’t crass about it but he is a very gassy man. My answer would depend heavily on if he is crass about it and treats it like a joke or if the gas is indicative of a health issue.

Don’t let him have dairy anymore. Or not at least at home. I switched my husband to A2 milk, only hard cheese (because the lactose is broken down) and Greek yogurt and while there are still days that are bad it is incredibly better overall!

Men are pigs. They all act up like that. My husband is diabetic and has terrible gas issues. We have special spray that helps. And I want to try the charcoal filters in his under pants. It’s so bad at times I asked him if on his way home he ate a small child!!!I truly understand.

Send him to the doctor first, then Beano/acidophilus with meals, and ask him to excuse himself and go fart in the bathroom. If it’s still unbearable maybe get some chlorophyll powder/tablets for the smelliness (but check with his doctor).

Slowly change his diet. Healthier food, minus cruciferous vegetables will help whatever bloat he has. Also, don’t be ashamed to crush up some gas x and sneak it in his food (as long as it wouldnt interact with any other medication) I know that sound a bit wild but I’m RIGHT THERE WITH YOU.

My farts are worse than my ole mans so I have no idea what you should do! Some farts could gag a maggot. Not one fart smells sweet at all. He could be having issues inside. But holding a fart in is nothing but a tummy ache waiting to happen.
