First time boy mom here and I am needing some potty training advice!! When/how did you know it was time to start potty training? I have a 21 month old and I just don’t know when or how to start! Please drop any and all advice and or books/courses that you recommend!! TYIA!!!

i started my kids first birthdays. bathroom every 30 minutes & make them sit for at least 10 minutes. all my kids were potty trained by 18 months.

Froot loops. Throw one in the potty tell him to pee on it helps aim n can be a fun game I did it with my kids

Most boys will not train till they are 3 just give him the potty and let him play with it, tell him it’s potty and make a big deal if he sits on it don’t force it make it a game, throw a Cheerio in for him to aim at.

Bring him into the bathroom with you/significant other/age appropriate siblings. Announce going to the potty. Talk about it while you’re in there. That alone did wonders for both my kiddos.
