Needing breaskfast ideas!

What do you feed your kids for breaskfast? I am tired of doing the same things all the time and really need new breaskfast ideas to keep things interesting

Doesn’t have to be breakfast food! Serve lunch or dinner leftovers. We all have eaten cold (or reheated) pizza for breakfast at some point.

Oatmeal is fine but so are cream of wheat and grits, Bits O’ Barley and Rye flakes for hot cereals.

Make a breakfast casserole or cheese soufflé the night before and reheat portions for breakfast.

I make omelets (I like to add salsa, spinach & more) , melt cheese on top then roll them in whole wheat flour tortillas with cooked ham, bacon or sausage. I freeze them and nuke one for breakfast. You can eat them like an ice cream cone held in one hand.

I like creamed chipped beef on toast or biscuits, and biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast too.

Don’t forget fresh fruit!

I make waffles with pecans, chocolate chips or cut up dried apricots. So good you don’t need syrup and can eat them on the go. Make ahead, freeze, & pop them in the toaster.

My mom used to make egg noodles and put them into hot milk with butter and salt for a hot breakfast soup.

Smoothies made with fruit and yogurt are quick

Pancakes or waffles scrambled eggs with fruit.

Honestly my kids school offers them breakfast, I make sure they eat something before leaving, but we have a snack box for them and always have fresh fruit.

I try to have them make better snack choices but early mornings I’m choosing my sanity

(My middle daughter is autistic and very picky at times so this just works for our family best on school days)

So many options. Tired of cold cereal?? Oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, eggs on toast, breakfast egg bake, biscuits & gravy, sausages, bacon… check out a cookbook from the library

My kids are really into sausage egg and cheese on a pancake sandwich. Kinda like a mcgriddle.

Pancakes, waffles, French toast, yogurt with fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, oatmeal, cream of wheat, bagels

Egg n sausage burritos…egg scramble bake with bacon pieces…french toast bake with cinnamon toast crunch

We did bacon pancakes the other day with a side of strawberries. My kids loved that. I also do waffle fries in the air fryer with sausage links and eggs.
