Needing Christmas gift ideas

Mama’s!!! I need assistance. Christmas gift ideas for a 13-year old boy and a 10-year old girl. Neither play with “toys” (besides once in a while legos) anymore which is making this Christmas tricky. Both are in sports if that counts! Because I need all the ideas I can get.

Gift card for cinema and large bag of popcorn wrapped.

Take them to a performance! Tickets to a play or dance concert. The Nutcracker is designed to keep kids attention and nearly every dance school performs at lest excerpts.

Alternatively, a visit to an indoor water park or stay at a Great Wolf Lodge. Put a picture and message about it in a box and wrap it like you would any other present.

You can also do individual sleepovers at a hotel with a pool. Invite a few of the child’s friends, have them bring sleeping bags, swim in the pool, bring snacks & drinks, order pizzas to the room, watch movies and enjoy the complimentary breakfast the next morning.

Puzzles and games the whole family can enjoy. They make mystery puzzles where you have to find clues to solve the mystery. I like the Lifestories game. It’s a cooperative game with questions that start great conversations. If any question is too painful you can choose an activity card instead.

My sons 10 and 8 have been asking for experience gifts, their words "memories last forever " so they get a season pass to the the zoo and a museum. Then tickets for a sporting event, movies, trampoline park and things to go with it, shirt, popcorn and candy. And then a few toys from Santa

Something related to a fandom they like, such as stickers, posters, shirts, an ornament, etc from their favorite show or movie. Maybe a SnackCrate or Universal Yums, etc that have boxes of snacks from other countries to try. A hoodie blanket (My kids love theirs). Movie tickets. Tickets to a trampoline park or arcade. Gift card. Money toward a video game if they’re into any.

Gift cards to their favorite sports store. That way they can get what they like.

Have you had them make you a list? That’s a good place to start.
