We call our Elliana Ellie for short. Or El sometimes.

My daughter’s name is Eliannah and my family calls her Ellie.

Or , you know , whatever you want , a nickname dose not have to be related with the name neither has to be a short version of the name .
My sister name is Leonela and her nicknames are lulu , chone and chavelita ,my name is Fransheska and my nickname is Panche .
Or Liam -Mokiki etc

Oddly enough, I’d probably wind up calling her 'Alien" as a nickname because it’s so different and sounds similar and the other nicknames seem cliche.

Lian? (pronounced Lee-ahn, not Leanne, i know a Lian as her full name)
You might even find you call her something totally different. We call ours Bear and Winny. Absolutely could not be further from their real names, no connection at all.

My daughter’s name is Leilani, my son couldn’t say her name so he called her Nani(pronounced nonny). It stuck and now that’s her nickname
Nicknames could be Elia or El(pronounced L) or Lia
Elia -pronounced Ellie-a, Lia - pronounced Leah, Lee, Lian - Lee-anne, Ellie, Elle.
Why ask for a nickname? That’s her name! Call her the name you chose.
El or Ellie or Eli if you wanna go more masculine
