Nothing showed on my ultrasound...advice?

So I’ve gotten multiple positive pregnancy tests within the past week, went to the dr and was positive but now on the ultrasound there’s nothing. Has anyone had this happen before?

Yes, but they found endometriosis and adenomyosis… I can take a pregnancy test and it be positive 9 outta ten times, and I’m unable to carry anymore due to the endometriosis and adenomyosis. Totally not trying to scare anyone. Just sharing my story.

Depends how far along you are. With both of mine I found out early so they scheduled me a few weeks later and there they were. You’re probably a bit too early for baby to show

Yes. Mine was a blighted ovum, so there was a gestational sac, but it was completely empty. I miscarried a few weeks later.

Yep. I test SUPER early. My doctor re-scheduled my ultrasound for 4 weeks out but followed up weekly with blood work to make sure my hcg levels were rising.

Yep, turns out I was just super early. 3 blood tests and 4 ultrasounds over the following 2 weeks, she’s 3 now.

Yes, and it was a miscarriage.

Usually doctors schedule first ultrasound apt for 7/8 weeks.

This happened to me when I was 15 weeks pregnant with my second went back a week later and there she was

Same happened to me and it was an ectopic pregnancy, my fallopian tube ended up bursting

How far along you exactly? Early on the best way to measure pregnancy is HCG blood test. Ultrasound MAY show something at 6 weeks. Ultimately it’s best to wait until 8 weeks for an ultrasound.

How far along? If you’re too early you won’t see anything yet. What’s the drs saying?

If you’re early enough, nothing will show. A sac/fetal pole may be seen around 5 weeks, but nothing will show prior.

I was told no ultrasounds until I was 8 weeks to confirm
If you are late by a week they typically won’t see anything on the ultrasound. It’s totally normal!

Did you get a blood test and are levels high

Yes I wasn’t far enough to see anything then 3 weeks later we say sac

Yes. It was a blighted ovum. I naturally miscarried about 2 weeks later.
