Anyone not get a period after giving birth? I just gave birth for the first time 8 months ago and my period never came back…I am not pregnant so I am not worried about that…do I need to mention it to a doctor? I mean I prefer not having a period…but is it bad for my health not too?

Just depends are you breastfeeding bc that can mess up your cycle or on birth control? If you don’t want to get pregnant again just make sure you are using birth control.

It can take up to 2 years for your cycle to return to normal after giving birth
I didn’t get mine back for over a year. It’s been pretty regular since and same as always.

I didn’t start mine till a little over a year after birth!
If you’re breastfeeding, it can take longer to return. Some BC cans also stop periods.
