Hello everyone so I’m 28 weeks pregnant with my last baby and I’m having gallbladder issues I can’t keep anything down if I throw it up I feel better and won’t have a gall bladder attack but I can’t keep anything down at all was in the hospital all night for dehydration and I got a lot of antibiotics but this is hell anyone have this issue? Any recommendations on what I could eat and keep down?
With gallstones the diet is very strict to try and prevent an attack. No dairy, no meats except turkey, no caffeine, no chocolate and only things very low in fat and cholesterol. You still may have an attack on this diet but it helps. This is what I was put on when I had gallstones while I waited for surgery. If you have an attack and its lasts more than 12 hours you need to be checked to make sure it hasn’t went to your pancreas which can be life threatening.
Don’t eat anything with fat in it. Go slow and be easy as hell. I had to deal with it for the last like 15 weeks of my twin pregnancy and it was hell. I was on a lot of pain meds and in and out of the hospital. Good luck.
