Question about a booster seat

Ok, can we talk about cars seats without being judgmental? I’m having an issue with my daughter’s booster. You want your kid in the middle just in case of a crash right? But the booster doesn’t seem to fit right with the seat belt, like the seat is too small for the booster. We have to push her booster over to get it buckled, then try to pull her back over. I just don’t like it. Are there thinner car seat boosters? Do you just put you kid on a side seat and not the middle anymore?

No. Car seat is middle or passenger side of the middle isnt an option. Same thing with the booster. The need the over the shoulder strap. Back passenger side.

The middle often isn’t designed as a full width seat so you need to put them behind the passenger.

They go behind the passenger seat

Middle parts of the car usually have a bump so it’s not recommended for car seats bc they won’t sit flat.

Where ever you get the correct/best install is the best places to put booster/any carseat.

You have to read the seat and car manual to know where the car seat and booster seats are supposed to go. The middle isn’t normally considered the safest spot.

The middle is only safest if you can get a good install. If the vehicle seat isn’t wide enough, it’s much safer to have her in one of the outboard seats! Even many harnessed seats can’t safely be installed in small middle seats!
