Just curious any homeschooling mama’s in here? What grade is your child in?how’s it going for you and your kid/kids?
We homeschool my 11th grade girls this year and my son will start 1st grade with us next year. We love every minute! My kids love it as much as I do! 0 regrets!! I homeschooled as a child so Im thankful my kids can enjoy it as well.
I don’t homeschool but my son just started online school. He is extremely behind in most academics due to behavioral issues. We are struggling through it right now and I don’t expect him to pass this semester but we are starting to get a routine down. I think that is the most important thing is routine and structure.
I have been homeschooling my girls since 6th grade they are now sophomore and junior. It was rough at first but I think that definitely had to do with the program I was using. They are on track to graduate early. Best decision I ever made!
Homeschooling my kindergartner right now and it’s amazing. The bonding time, and fact we get full control of the pace and the learning topics, is great. We’ve joined a weekly co-op and he’s made some friends there as well.
My boys are 7&10, I’ve been homeschooling them from the get go.
We don’t do grades. In some learning areas they are in grades that are equivalent to what they’d be in if they were in school, some are way above that. We do school for 2 hours a day and depending on life, we might take days or a week off here and there. I give them freedom to pick subjects they’d like to learn more about, and take breaks from other subjects when they’re overwhelmed. They excel.
I wouldn’t change a thing!!!
Homeschool mama of a 6 & 7 year old. In our second year and loving it. They will not be going to public school if I can help it.
I have a 5th and 6th grader. We’re coming up on one year of homeschooling and I haven’t regretted the decision since day one. There’s such a positive change in my kids. They don’t miss public school at all, neither do I.
Just starting out my girl is in preschool but we intend to homeschool the whole way through
We are homeschoolers. It’s seriously the best. Not a single regret.
