I am 5 months pregnant, working in the nursing field. What are another mama’s doing to cope with it all with the covid-19 and things are affected. I don’t want to risk my baby, but I have my babies to feed. It’s a really hard chance to take.

Talk to your doctors and employers, take the appropriate safety precautions that is all you can do unless you want to quit your job. OR if you are that worried maybe your doctor can write up an extend medical leave of absence for your employer.
I would definitely call your ob & see what they suggest! Mine called me today and said they need me to stop working (although I already have) by 37 weeks & self isolate until birth. I’m already 36 weeks & not working anyways but that’s what mine said, yours may something different especially with being in the medical field! Also, mine offered disability pay to make up for any money lost during the time of not working so that’s also something to look into

I am 8 months pregnant. They are not floating pregnant women to the COVID units but I work with all the Staff that do work there. Our hospital has a policy all staff need to wear masks the whole shift. I try my best to maintain good hand hygiene and wash with CHG. I wipe everything down with sani wipes before going home and undress in the backyard. Toss my scrubs in the wash right away. Spray the laundry room down with Lysol and get in the shower. I avoid touching anyone until I get out of the shower. I would suggest what others have said to talk to your OB and see when is the earliest you can take leave. Stay safe.

Even if you aren’t fine. Your baby should as it can develop natural immune defense as it’s in the womb. Also intake as much vitamin C,D,E. Look up a plant called Miranga. Also known as the God plant.
