Hey guys my one month old swallowed a small amount of water at bathtime. I know babies can’t have water. Wondering if a small amount is okay or should I worry?

A small amount shouldn’t hurt him, docs just don’t want babies formula diluted with water to stretch it.
Babies can have water if needed cooled boiled water. Formula fed babies drink water every day.
Happened to my son 9yrs ago… he was fine
. I simply monitored him and didn’t let him sleep til after a good amount of urine left his body.
Unless you believe they aspirated a lot if water into their lungs or drank a lot of it then no it shouldn’t be a problem.

I gave my babies a bottle of water after they came home from the hospital and they are fine,also did the same with my granddaughter and she is also fine
