Yes you should leave your husband, but not for your ex. I think you should let them both go so they can find someone else and have a shot at real love. You should consider some sort of therapy to work on yourself. I would be willing to bet you probably have some self esteem issues and crave attention from whoever is willing to give it to you. You have to learn to love and respect yourself before you can ever really allow anyone else to. The sad thing about this is that you probably truly can’t help yourself. It’s become a way of life for you.
