Should we do bunk beds?

Okay so I’ll have my two girls sharing a room 2.5 & 4.5… should I do bunk beds? Or do a twin size bed they can share?? I’m worried about my 2.5 year old climbing

2 twin beds. Too small to share. And i agree that 2 year old too small for bunk beds

You could do a Trendall Bed

2 twins bed is a better option

I would pick a bunk bed that separates into two twin beds. For now do the two twin beds, and then when they are older you can bunk them.

common rule with bunkbeds that you need to be 6+ for top
You can get a bunkbed that splits in the two for now

Trundle bed works great for littles

From a mom who was all for bunk beds. Don’t do it. Lol… our 7&5 yr old has had them for 3 years, no issues. However, that was changed a couple weeks ago. The 5 yr old got hurt, “climbing down and fell.” We have camera in their room, and looked at the video, she was flipping from the top bunk onto the bottom and flipping into a pile of stuffed animals and blankets. She ended up pulling a muscle in her chest from landing on her head.

I would do the twin bunk beds. Then when they are a bit older you can make bunks and then back to twins if needed.

I got bunks for my boys. The top was twin; bottom full, with a staircase instead of a ladder. We had someone build a swinging door at the bottom & put a sliding lock on the inside. That way our oldest could unlock it if he needed to get out during the night to go to the bathroom. We could reach over the door to lock/unlock it when our oldest wasn’t in there. It worked great for us for several years

Twin beds easier when you want to move them into different rooms

I recommend a trundle bed! That way they don’t have to sleep together and there’s no climbing involved!

I would do the bunk as to singles.
