Mine were cut out. Have 4 kids. No regrets. Periods didnt change and sex carefree…

Everything is still the same for me.

I regret it. My hormones are everywhere. My mood swings are awful. As far as sex, I’m almost never in the mood which makes it rough when my husband wants to and I never do.

Periods have been a little crazy. But sex is the same for me.

Nothing changed after having mine clamped. Almost 30 years later with zero problems

Just had mine cut out 2 months ago. Periods are the same. I’ve had more cramping than normal but I’m sure it’s still healing in there.

It was nice piords the same I had it done after the birth of my 3rd child

My periods didn’t get worse and no change in sex

Heavier more uncomfortable periods but nothing else changed

Periods are just fine. Have been irregular last couple of months, but they’re lighter. Sex isn’t any different.

Periods are sooo much worse for a while! No one told me before I had mine done, sex isn’t any diff

Had 5 kids…then tied mine 3 years ago. Hormonal imbalances were a B****. I even lost my sex drive. I regret it from time to time.

Periods aren’t really worse. It’s been almost two years for me. Sometimes they are late. And sex is the same. Actually less stressful, because I know I cant have anymore kids. Lol

Mine went fine, same sec drive, light periods. Best thing ever

Sex is the same but in time periods got a little heavier with more cramping

Absolutely no difference in anything.

Tubes removed, almost 5 mos pp, periods are different but that could be breastfeeding. No other changes

Period changed from heavy 6 day to light 3 day sex is the same

My cramps have been horrible since getting mine tied. Nothing else except theres been times i wish i never got them tied… personal reasons…

Lost my sex drive and periods are way worse for me

I had no cramping like I did before tube tied period was the same

More cramping sex still same

I got mine done almost 3 yrs ago. I think my periods definitely became worse and sometimes I’m hurting a lot after sex, even if it’s not rough. I don’t think my hormones have changed though. Everyone will experience something different. I do regret getting mine done a little though.

I went 4 months no period. Then my first period was sooooooo heavy lasted 3 days. But it was like a slaughter house! And now I’m on my second month and no cramping so far and nothing out of ordinary.

Got mine done four months ago after my 3rd c-section. I got an ovarian cyst 3 weeks after my c-section. Not sure if it was bc my tubes were tied bc I’ve never had a cyst before. Other than that, everything is fine and normal. Periods are kinda heavier and longer, but nothing too bad. Hormones are still the same.

Periods are worse and I regret getting mine done

I got mine removed. My cycle is 4 days super light. I had them removed Aug 2018.

I had mine done a year and a half ago after my 3rd baby was 10 months old. Haven’t noticed any mood swing changes I’ve always been a little moody… lol. Cramps and periods are lighter only 3 days with 1 heavy day. Sex is amazing! Especially knowing we’re done with babies. The incision took some time to recover from but that’s normal for any surgery.

Sex drive lowered and ended up pregnant 2 years after and lost the baby so Now they are completely removed.

When i had mine done i didnt get periods for 5 years but my hormones are crazy bad mood swings ended up having to get everything out due to large fibroid tumors the size of golf balls if i could i would of never done it

I’m glad my husband got snipped. Less invasive. For us it’s a major surgery. I hear it’s different for everyone.

Way heavier periods for me.

My periods now only last 4-5 days, the first two are heavy and then it’s very light after…

Periods were heavier but I started using a menstrual cup and they aren’t so bad.

my stomach muscles were sore afterwards, cuz we use them everyday. I couldn’t stand up or sit up, I had to crawl on all fours just to make it to the bathroom. It was worth it. my periods were heavy. But, the sex was still awesome.

Regret it!! It hurt. And I always wonder what if I could have had another baby … want another one someday. My pms has been awful too

Nothing changed (I had my ligation during/after my 3rd C-section delivery). Only change was…it took the worry out of being close!

I can’t speak for period difference because I suffer of endometriosis. But as far as the tubes, I had mine removed with my last c section and have had zero issues since. Of course healing from any surgery comes with discomfort and pain, but now I don’t have any pain or anything like that. It didn’t change the way sex feels, but makes it better in the way that you don’t have to stress about what could happen and can enjoy yourself more. Just be 100% sure, I was 100% sure and I still wonder what if I didn’t. But I’m solid in my choice and I’d do it again. Hope that helps

I would suggest researching post tubal ligation syndrome before makin a decision.
I 1000% regret having a tubal. My hormones are CRAZY out of whack. Mood swings are ridiculous. Horrible periods…heavy, bad cramps, huge clots and having a period every two weeks. Ive gained about 40 pounds since having it and I do not eat any different than before. No sex drive.
It. Sucks.

Period is already different in each woman. Sex was the same cramps slowed down I still got pregnant. It’s not full proof.

I was thinking about having it dont when they went looking to see why sex hurt. … I had cysts. Still have tubes that work and a husband with a snipped vas deferens :joy: my OB said male recovery is easier and I had, had a baby 5 mos prior (as well as 3 different surgeries) so my Dr didnt think I needed a longer recovery time.

I gained sooooo much weight. same diet same habits before and after…

After having two C-sections having my tubes tied was a breeze but you still have to worry for the next seven years I met one woman that had her tubes tied 5 years later she had a baby had her tubes tied again 3 years later she had twins I don’t know how often that happens mine never grew back but it didn’t change my periods they went through my navel it took about 20 minutes and after about four days it didn’t hurt anymore I never had any problems from it and after having my first baby at 31 and my second at 37 I figure I have my babies and I’m old enough not to have any more and never regretted it

get them removed! every one I know who tied regrets it and their peorids are horrible. I had mine removed completely and my periods are just the same but my sex drive came back. best decision iv ever made.

Mine were tired after my second c-section. My cycles never changed?

Mine were burned 3 years ago. No differences… Took about 3 days to heal

I had mine tied almost 2 years ago. My period cramps are stronger (not unbearable), and my period is actually great. It started out heavy and is now regular and never last over a week. And weight gain wasn’t very bad. My weight was mainly from pregnancy issues.

Had mine done 10 years ago. Periods we’re awful for a few years after. Heavy and painful. Now they are slowing down. Recovery was not bad same as a regular c section. I was positive I didn’t want any more kids after my second. I’m not one to remember a pill everyday. My ex husband didn’t want to have a vasectomy so I did the tubal. I have no regrets, just make sure you are 100% sure this is what you want.

I had mine removed.
My periods are more painful, but the recovery was fast and no pain

Every women’s different!! But I had no problems after I had mine done!!

I have had it done. Only down one day minimal pain. Periods are now 2 days shorter. No changes in sex.

It’s been almost 5 yrs since mine. Had it done during a c section…I did have heavy periods and some pain so I got on the depo shot in Dec to help manage that and help me to gain weight because I couldn’t gain no matter what I did. So far so good.

I had my tubes tied 26 yrs ago and never had any changes

C section and tubes “clamped” no differences in monthly. Absolutely no difference.

I am getting mine removed in a few weeks. Its more effective and lowers your chance of ovarian cancer.

My sisters periods are much worse and much more painful after getting tied
