I have had the paraguard IUD for the past year and a half. I went to the doctor today and it was expelling itself. My only two options are having another paraguard placed or have my tubes tied. I am not ready for permanent birth control at the moment, because I would like to have another child in the future. Has anyone had the paraguard IUD expelled, but the next one stay in place?

There are so many different types of birth control it there that aren’t iuds. Just try something else.
