Signs labor is near?

39 weeks with baby #2 had a full membrane sweep I’m still one centimeter not sure how thinned out I am but my OB said she could literally feel my sac bulging and that it was about to break and she also feel my son’s hand and his head. How much longer do you guys think I have left? I’m curious.

Start walking and squatting! My clients have gone into labor and delivered anywhere from 4-24 hours later. Pay attention to cramping in front or the back. :heart: Best wishes! You’re doing great

You have till that baby gets ready. Don’t rush it.

Your seriously asking Facebook like there’s any possible way for any of us to know something like that… everyone’s experience is different. We have no idea when you will go in labor. We can give helpful tips on how to TRY tho…

I was at 3cm for a week and I had my membranes swept 2 days ago, and still NOTHING. I’m 39 weeks and 2 days, patiently waiting for labor… more like impatiently. Good luck!!!

Walk, do squats, dance, bounce on a birthing ball, all will help open your pelvis and dilate your cervix.

Membranes swept with my 2nd child and I was in labor and delivery the same evening

Mine ended up breaking about 12 hours later

Could be today could be in a couple of weeks lol. I had mine swept 3 times under the same circumstances 1-2 cm dilated and none of them worked. She came on her own at 38 weeks 6 days though. Do a ton of walking, squatting and jumping jacks lol

That was me, I was extra miserable with my hips right at the end so my OB tried to help out and sweep the membrane…two days later still nothin so I tried to make one of those midwife smoothie(nothing bad for you in it, but gross)…I didnt expect it to work, but I drank it at noon, started having contractions around an hour later, they became consistent within 2 hours and I waited to go to the hospital after laboring for about 4 hours at home…hang in there mama the baby will be here soon❤️

Had my membranes swept all three pregnancies and not one baby came out willingly they were all induced :joy: everyone is different

Waaaaaaaalk walk walk … I had that with my first on Friday I was 3cm… I walked Walmart in a complete circle twice from one end to the other, went into full labor and water broke on Sunday morning

I say u will go into labor tonight. I was 39 weeks and at last on appt she did the membrane scrape and was dialted to a 1 as well. And my water broke that night at 1030

I was 2 cm dilated, had my membranes swept and went into labor 12 hours later, but everyone is different.

Sounds like it could happen at any moment with my last one I was dilated to a 1 and I went into labor that night

I had my membranes stripped at 38 weeks and went into labor on my way home from the doctors! It just depends on the person.

I hope it’s soon for you. I sat at 3cm for a couple weeks. Docs kept saying “anyday, I can feel her head”. When I went in for induction I was at 5. No labor lol

Membrane sweep didn’t work for me, just caused more pain and irritation, I’m still pregnant :joy:

I has mine sweep 2x and nothing happened ended up getting induced

Unfortunately it’s different for everyone. I drag things up until I reach 5 or 6 then in less than 20 minutes baby is here. Doctors were caught off guard with all three. Lol.

Labour is unpredictable, everyone is different but hope you have a safe delivery & “fast” labour lol :slightly_smiling_face:
