I know this is a strange question and probably TMI for most. What is a miscarriage like after having a child? I’ve had 16 miscarriages prior and 1 tubal. In 2008 I had cervical cancer and was told there was a chance I would never have children. My son is 15 months now. For a few months I’ve felt pregnant, but the tests showed up negative… tonight I felt severe pain not in my abdomen as before but more so my vaginal area where my stitches we’re with my son…and I passed a silver dollar sized clot as I have with previous miscarriages…so I am concerned and it will be a while before my doctor can see me. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Imo. I had 1 , had a baby, then had 2 more, and then had another baby. To me. They werent much different. They werent as painful as the first was… usually you can definitely tell when your miscarrying… But I would definitely go get checked just to be sure… Instead of worrying yourself to death. 
Get to the emergency room asap
I carried my son to 23 weeks and 4 days. Then that happened to me. Worse day of my life. Stay calm. Get checked out. Better safe then sorry.

I have 2 children/adults. I had one tubal, a child, then another tubal. Your chances are very high on having another tubal. Check it out
Is there a reason your doctor didn’t advise you to stop getting pregnant after sixteen miscarriages? That seems risky and irresponsible. I thought after several doctors advise fertility help if applicable or birth control to prevent them. I had a miscarriage after my 1st child and it took forever for my period to come. That was my experience.

I went through it no detection of pregnancy for 5 months…got sick started passing things that could not recognize then the bleeding started ( which I found out later I was hemorrhaging for a week) back pain the whole 9 yards passed out at work they sent me to the hospital…layed there for four hour finally was seen checked out and here there was a baby it had died 3 months prior my body could not pass it my cervix had closed around the body and it was starting to decompose that was I had been passing. They said I should have been dead with all the poison that was floating around in me. …0lease get checked dont wait.

I don’t feel that 16 miscarriages are even safe for ones body. I have had one & I was careful till I decided to try again.

My doctor at the time advised me she chose to cauterize my cervix on the grounds I was a smoker and assumed I had cancer and had PCOS in 2008… my tubal happened in 2015. She gave me no other reason- she has been removed from practice. In 2015 my doctor said he saw no evidence of PCOS or cancer and that I should be able to have a child. My son was born in 2018. All I wanted was to have a child but I had never had that luck until 2018… My first miscarriage was 2003…
You can have a low grade cervical cancer and they can do a LEEP procedure and remove the tissue and not have to go through chemo, radiation and hysterectomy. However if she had a LEEP procedure that would make being pregnant more difficult because of the cervix being diminished in its capacity. If she had a uterine ablation she wouldn’t be able to carry a pregnancy because essentially they go in and burn the lining of your uterus and make it very hard for a placenta to adhere to the wall of the uterus. 15 miscarriages is a ton, I’m sure after 5 a doctor advised her it wasn’t feasible but some people may not listen do to their desires to have a family. Ultimately she needs to go to a doctor and get checked. This could be pregnancy, could be fibroids, could be a lot of things.

I would have a Dr check u for pcos again… some women have it worse than others and that can cause u to miscarriage… I have it and have had a few miscarriages bc of it…
Because of your medical history, I would advice you seek a doctor. If bleeding becomes severe accompanied with stomach pain you need to go to ER asap
