Signs of appendicitis?

Had anyone had Appendicitis? I feel like I’m experiencing all the tell-tale symptoms. I’d love some stories of how it started for anyone else…

Mine just hurt when I pee extremely bad and when I walked it hurt. But it wasn’t awful. I went in thinking it was a bladder infection but my appendix was about to rupture.

I first thought I was constipated. Started as a “twinge” in my right lower abdomen. Finally went to the ER when my pain moved up to my right flank, had chills, and a fever. Taking any step or hitting bumps in the car made it worse. I almost waited too long, they said it had been “sick a long time” and I have an 8 inch scar from above my belly button to almost my public area. If any concern, get checked out.

I actually had mine out a week and a half ago (5 days after giving birth) my stomach hurt all over and I had a really bad pain in my lower right side that just kept getting worse. Went to er and had it removed that night

Pain around the belly button and red and swollen on the lower right side and you will have a green hue to your skin sometimes

we are not doctors some signs are different for different people so go ask a doctor that’s what they go to school for

I never had that sort of pain with my appendicitis. Just lower back and my side was excruciating. Doesn’t hurt to call a doctor and ask.

Always safe to get checked then to not. My autistic son had a perforated appendicitis and the hospital sent him home and assumed it was gastro… next day he was back at the hospital prepping for surgery… he was spewing lethargic and pains in the tummy… however he has a high pain threshold and didn’t react how they would have expected him to… get checked!!

Lay on bed where the pain is push down there and let go quickly if a pain shoots up and painful you must probably have appendicitis

I’ve had that pain with ovarian cysts around ovulation.

Sounds like siactic nerve

It’s pain in your right lower stomach near the side that will bend you over. You may also experience nausea or vomiting and run a low grade fever. Go to the ER they can do a blood test to determine if you have it.

Sounds like sciatica to me. But mine goes down into my legs too.

I agree with everyone saying it’s a sciatic nerve!
I have sciatic nerve pain so bad, there are days that I get horrible flare ups and I can’t even walk… from lower back, hip, ass cheek and down my right leg (All on the Right side!)
You need to go to your doctor asap because if it gets too bad you will have to have surgery.

I’m a nurse, doesn’t sound like appendicitis BUT it does sound like sciatic nerve pain. My left side is very sensitive and gets irritated easily. Especially lately during sex. It’s excruciating.

Mine burst when I was 5 so I don’t remember much BUT I do remember it being very painful

I had appendicitis a few years ago. I had sharp pains on my lower right side stomach area and I couldn’t stop vomiting. I was super weak and slept on the bathroom floor throughout the night before convincing my husband to take me into the ER and ended up having surgery a few hours later. I would suggest if you think it is appendicitis to seek help immediately as a burst appendix cuz lead to major complications

It had my grown ass husband crying and groaimning in pain. Apparently its horrible.

Lower right side of stomach…like where your ovary is. Sharp pain and as it gets worse you won’t be able to stand up straight. Get it checked out ASAP because mine almost bursted when I was 7 yrs old and it inflamed my ovary.
But it sounds more like sciatica. I had that when I was pregnant with my daughter.

Might be sciatica. No mention of abd pain nausea vomiting diarrhea so I don’t think appendicitis

Hj there my daughter is also suffering with excruciating pain and the pharmacist said I should give bioflox tabs not should if that would work

If it’s just in your back, buttocks, and leg then it’s probably your sciatic nerve.
It can be PAINFUL.
If it’s your lower right stomach Into your back then it could be appendicitis or it could be kidney stones…or an ovarian cyst.

The best thing to do would be to get checked out by a doctor.

Mine almost burst 5 yrs ago, I was walking around for almost 2 weeks with appendicitis. I couldn’t poo and I almost passed out from the burning pain in my belly button (had zero side pain) you cannot poo if your appendix is about to rupture.

I had right side abdomen and back pain

Massage Therapist here. Like others have said, this does sound more like sciatica to me. I see a LOT of it. YouTube has lots of tutorials on stretches that can help alleviate sciatic nerve pain. BUT, I am not a doctor. Your safest bet is to get it checked out.

Personally sounds like sciatica (nerve pain) but if concerned a Drs appointment would be best.
