I got my yorkie at 6months old he is now 1 year old. My 9 year old daughter has been having hives on n off for at least 5 days…could this be allergies to our pup? Could my daughters allergies show up 6months later?

I have something similar but to my dog I’ve had her 7 years and just this last year I started having hives on my arms every time I pet her so strange but I think it’s a possibility
Allergies can develop at any time. I don’t know for sure if it was my rabbit or the hay in her hutch but after about 8 years of having her anytime I went near her my eyes and throat used to itch. I can remember my eyes going really gunky too.
