So I am starting to sleep train my 20-month-old daughter. I never had to before because she use to sleep through the night. Now she only sleeps in the rocking chair with a lot of bottles throughout the night. I am trying to cut out the rocking first and then the bottles. I do not want to let her cry it out or the Ferber method. I would rather put her to sleep with me in the room with her. As I do not mind her falling asleep with me in the room for now because we share a bedroom. I was wandering if anyone else has done this and how long it takes? She doesn’t cry but it takes 3 hours for her to finally fall asleep. How long before she falls asleep faster?
