Smoothie recipe ideas?

Hey Mommas I’ve been trying to incorporate smoothies into my 2 year olds diet but they never taste very sweet once I make them. I used strawberries, milk, and some yogurt. Any of you know a good recipe that will make her say mmmmmm?

Banana can add sweetness. Or you could try a little agave syrup or maple syrup (the real stuff).

Frozen blueberries
That should be good you can use frozen strawberries with same recipe play with the amounts you put in I use like a cup of coconut milk and cpl teaspoon of yogurt then teaspoon of honey and cocoa and half cup fruit

Watermelon and yogurt it makes the best smoothie and the consistency is great

Definitely try unsweetened vanilla almond milk :raised_hands:

Add honey or a banana

I buy vanilla yogurt in a quart container

Strawberries 1/2 cup, 1 banana , plain nonfat Greek yogurt 1cup, 4 ice cubes, cinnamon. Should be sweet make sure the fruit is ripe. And this is a healthy clean eating recipe.

Why does it need to be sweet? Littles don’t need things to be sweet in order for them to eat them. And why smoothies? Can’t you just feed them fruit and yogurt?

Try adding a little sugar free pudding. They have banana, cheesecake, butterscotch, chocolate fudge, lemon, white chocolate. Only need about 1 tsp to flavor it a little.

I’ve been tempted to try smoothies with my daughter! Like some of these ideas…going to write them down :+1::+1::blush:

Bananas. Greek yogurt, strawberries. I even put in a few leaves of spinach. It’s a good balance, the flavors complement each other.

Bananas are always good. Try some honey. No sugar. Try to keep it natural. Berries are good too.
Try to hide some healthy stuff in there. Use kale, carrots etc. Look online for options.

Banana and frozen yogurt

Juice makes the difference

Frozen strawberries. Fresh or frozen bananas. Plain yogurt. Dole pineapple orange banana juice from the refrigerated section of juices.

Freeze a chopped up banana and blend it with milk - it tastes like banana ice cream! Add cinnamon or some peanut butter.
