I usually gf or my sons teachers things they could use for the classroom (so they wouldn’t have to use their own money) a gift card to Starbucks and something special just for them.

As a teacher I always appreciate anything parents and students give because it’s definitely not expected or required. I have some parents who ask us our favorite snacks and gift those… others have gifted Amazon gift cards and local coffee gift cards or Sonic gift cards. Little notes of appreciation are also great!

I’ve made things. Mason jar painted red with a green leaf and ribbon with pencils in it. Flower pot with a ruler painted around the top. Google ideas

Gift cards to Target, Amazon or Starbucks are my favorite!

Gift card, jar of my favourite candy, a card. I don’t really need or want anything else. If it’s for something extra-special that the teacher has done for you, I’d be overjoyed to receive flowers or a bottle of non-alcoholic wine (I don’t drink alcohol). Regular wine is fine if you know they do!

Coffee gift cards and chocolate. You can never go wrong with chocolate.

1 year I bought shrink dink plastic, bracelets & key chains. I had my kids draw pictures of things they think of about the teacher. Some were personal, like superheros for the teacher who likes them, a “blue kid” which went with a joke the teacher told etc. Others were academic like math problems or kids running (gym). They made about 3-4 charms for each teacher then I added extra little charms. They loved them. Some cried. 1 hung his in his classroom, some use them as bookmarks. Some wear them. The whole thing cost me around $30 for several teachers. We still have supplies left.

We’ve done rose pen bouquets. I thought it was cute. It never occured to me that it would be weird to give to male teachers. My daughter had to explain to the principal she was just giving the teacher a gift with no romantic motive. She didn’t even understand what was happening. Another time I made candy bouquets. I didn’t know a teacher was diabetic. My kid got pulled out of class & lectured on “poisoning” her teacher. She didn’t force it down the teachers throat. It was a gift that completely appreciated & thrown out of proportion. Be very careful of what you give teachers. They will use anything to humiliate your child & make them feel bad about themselves. Teachers & school administration love to bully kids.

Stainless steel cups to hold beverages, nice pens, candy, gift cards

Homemade cards or pictures that the kids made, pens, chocolate, coffee.

Home made cards, local bakery, book store, shop gift cards were always appreciated. One nice one was a gold into itself grocery bag that did nicely in my purse. A student hug is equally precious.

Luckily last yr the teacher gave us a paper with likes on it. 1 teacher liked cats so got cat items, one teacher liked pineapple so we got her tree hut pineapple scrub. Both loved them. Teacher this yr don’t want anything except him with items throughout the yr. Anytime she asks i send what I can. Tomorrow sending disinfectant wipes & kleenex
