Toy suggestions for a 2 month old? Also any tips on how to help with teething? Lol I refuse to do what my mother did for me for teething. She used whisky on the gums and a chicken bone to teeth on lol I’m lucky I’m not dead
There is a gel you can get to rub on their gums which helps a lot!!
I used whiskey on all 3 kids…worked like a charm
Hylands Baby oral pain relief tablets! They worked wonders for my daughter!
My moms said that my grandma and grandpa used whiskey. And would put beer in her bottle to go to sleep… boy have things changed! I do bicycle motions with my 3 month olds legs, read to him and let him swat at the book, hold rattle/crunch sound toys in front of him to let him grab and try to show him how to grab things. Also introduced a bunch of textures to him! And tummy time whether it’s on your stomach, shoulder, pillow or the floor
Throw a wet wash cloth in the freezer & let them chew on it. Or pop ice freezer pops.
The sock and hand teethers they sell at Wal-Mart
Put some teether toys in the refrigerator for a little while and let them chew on it
My husband and I do the whiskey thing as well for all 6 soon 7 children.
My parents used to use Kaluha lol
this mesh teether with an ice cube in it worked for my kids😊
Black white and red toys at this age. Helps with eye sight and coordination. Something with lots of textures. Also faces with different expressions and a mirror for tummy time.
As for teething use that baby tooth brush mornings and at night to massage the gums. The stimulation will naturally decrease pain.
Frozen banana to naw on.
I bought every product on the market
Things that worked best was a gel on the bad days and a teething tooth brush to rub on his gums on the good days.
You can also soak a cloth in camomile tea and put it in the fridge to go cold. Then give it to baby to chew on.
I used frozen eggo waffles for my first born after she hit 6 months, before then it was those teething tablets that got recalled (shes 13 now). My new baby hasn’t started teething yet because shes just about the same age as your baby
Teething necklaces! Target sells cute ones

I know it’s a bit pricey for a teether, but but for some reason babies love this. Mine did. P.S. they have them at Target, so at least there’s no shipping.
Real vanilla extract on the gums!!!
I got this for my 2 month old and he loves it. He will gentley coo at it. Its 6 month or more toy but he enjoys it when I press the buttons. Fisher-price Laugh And Learn Smart Stages Puppy : Target
Toys that make sounds. I have a giraffe that makes a crinkle noise and it has a spot to teeth on the feet.
Youe momma knew what worked. I rubbed just a dab on my son’s gums. Didn’t use any bones.
When my sons both hit 5 months I would go to the local meat shop and buy real beef jerky! It helped pop their teeth through I also got those mesh things you can put food in and made made my own smoothies and “popsicles” (super watered down juice turned into ice cubes)
We did frozen fruit. We also had a lot of teething toys. But only a couple worked. My kid was a trooper. Teeth were coming in 2 at a time.
My baby loved the carrot teether (got it on amazon for fairly cheap), teething bibs, and the little freezeable hands and feet (because they have fingers and toes to munch on). Still her favs now at almost 6 mos!
Whiskey was rubbed on our gums, my girls gums and my grand girls gums. .is not enough to do anything other than numb them. We used a Q tip to rub on grandbabies
My lo likes the raspberry teether binky
vanilla extract a lttle dab on the gum helps with inflammation and pain the same way whiskey would but has a lower alcohol content. i would do different teething toys also theres a bib that has a teether at the bottom of it. i would definitely not give them a bone of any sort. u can make popsicles of frozen breast milk or formula and put it in a in infant fresh food feeder to let him chew/gnaw on it.
Pure vanilla extract, nuby teething tablets, Tylenol
Anything that lights up and makes noises.
To be honest, i never bought or had anything like that for my baby, i just had jingly toys. She loved listening to them rattle!
A cold wash cloth for teeth. Anything frozen that is small enough for their hands to hold, but big enough not to choke on.
I give my daughter (7 months) popsicles to suck on (only the wrapper because it’s real cold) and my bottles/ cans that still have liquid in it. (The outside of it)
I gave my kids jerky to teeth on.
Teething rings, put them in the freezer and then let them rest of the gums for little amounts at a time
At that age, babies love contrasting things. Maybe show your baby some black and white board books? I made my daughter black, white and red animal photos to look at and she would stare at them, she seemed to like them a lot
Teething, I put teether a in the fridge, not the freezer because it will stick to their little lips and tongue.
My son is 2. We used chicken bones and rib bones. Not sure why you think it would kill a kid… and whiskey on gums has been around for hundreds of years. You’re not giving your kid a shot, you dip your finger and rub it on their gums. Also won’t kill your kid.
Whiskey did wonders for mine, and myself as a baby. Bones I have never heard of such a thing.
My daughter used beef jerky now her boys love it
I used frozen waffles…
Teething toys, paracetamol and bonjela
Put a wet washcloth in the freezer for about 30 minutes let them chew on that or put their pacifier in the freezer
Nancy good advice. Did you get my voice message to you today? Maureen
