Teething pain relief for babies?

After a restless night and day with lots of nappy changes, attempts at feeding and trying to settle little man with no luck. To the point where I started to feel useless as nothing we did was helping.

It actually looks like he could be teething, but he’s too young to have anything to help :sob:. Even the pharmacist said it looks like he could be.

My little one would get “overtired” and would just cry and cry… once I figured it out she was a lot better. She would fight falling asleep and I’d let her fall asleep on me to just take a nap. Once she started sleeping better I would put her in her crib.

Had the same thing happen…I was told it was too early. Buuuut that’s absolutely what it was. Trust your instincts

Load your freezer with rolled up, wet wash cloths - the cold is soothing and it will feel good on his gums, also numbs the pain. Maybe also a pacifier would help give comfort? I used to fill the bulb of the pacifier up with water and freeze them. Oh also, invest in an amber bead necklace - I swear by those things and my kids wore them straight through til 18 months-2 years old. I saw a world of difference in them the moment I put them on. Drooling stopped, redness in cheeks went away, and so did the overall fussiness and discomfort.

If baby is fussing and not wanting to eat well, get ears checked.

Grandson just went threw it had 2 bottom teeth at 4 months

One of my kids got their first tooth at 4 months Put crushed ice in a wash clothe and let baby chew on that

Take a paci that has the hole in the back of the nipple…fill it with water and freeze it. Let him suck on it.

Fill a pacifier with water and freeze it… Take frozen waffles or a rag and soak it then freese it… My son is 2 1/2 and he love’s everything cold on his gums

My son started teething at 2 months, and I thought “well that means he will probably be done early!” WRONG! he seethed from 2 to 20 months non stop. When he was 2 months i would simply wash my hands and massage his gums with my fingers very gently, also i tried cold and warm bottles, he liked them warm I think it soothed his gums but I would try both to find out! Also I know it’s hard to do but seriously, if you can sleep when he finally does, do so. Everything else can wait until you feel rested enough, eventually no sleep can drive you crazy and make everything worse

According to my mom I started teething by 3 months… I hear the story a lot of how it freaked her out because she thought I had something in ny mouth when she first noticed them while she was changing ny diaper  There’s large enough teething rings that you can utilize… see what your pediatrician suggests though <3

Some babies are literally born with teeth. No such thing as “too early” I’m afraid :grimacing:

Wet a cloth…freeze it…let him chew the crap out of it. It will sooth him. If he doesnt use a pacifier…do not start. Lol. One less thing to try and get rid of when hes bigger.

If hes teething rub some numzit on his gums for relief or i think they have orajel for babies too

My baby was a month when her gums started swelling indicating teething I did cold rags since her mouth was to small for teething rings and she was to wrong for the meds. Thankfully now she only gets it every so often. So I keep the organic gum soother in my fridge so it helps more when her gums hurt works amazing

try wetting a wash cloth, squeeze extra water out and put in freezer… once Frozen or even just really cold will feel good on his gums. actually do two, so u have backup…:heart::heart::heart::heart::hugs:

Tylenol can be given and it helps so much, ask Dr for the dosing chart for infants. I had 2 that got there first tooth in at 3 months so it can start early.
