Thoughts on the baby name Christeion (chris-T-ion) for a boy? I’m obsessed with it but my boyfriend doesn’t love it
Like…Christian??? I’m confused.
I feel like a lot of times parents don’t think about the child having to learn to spell and write their own name. I think the pronunciation is cute. The spelling I personally think is a little ridiculous though
Why does it have to be so complicated?
So…Christian? Just spelled complicated?
Grammar wise - I think the e after the t makes the first i a long i, and not a short i ; different spellings can have different meanings so that should factor into your decision. Agreed it should be easy for your child. My name is not typical by spelling or gender and it frustrated me growing up.
I don’t love it…but your child.
Just don’t. Life is hard enough without having a weird name
Don’t do that to that poor baby.
Someone please explain to me how to pronounce this. I’m still confused
It sounds stupid the way I read it
Imagine them trying to write their name in kindergarten. You’re naming a baby not a hamster. Poor kid would be paying to get that changed one day. Don’t do it lol.
Do not do that to that poor child!
Looks like your have no idea how to spell. And…why? Why would you do that to your kid? It’s just annoying and self-indulgent. Stop!
I think it’s going to cause a lot of “Uhhhhh Christian?” When he gets to school age. I don’t personally like it, but it’s your baby.
It sounds like crusty iron. Stick with Christian
Your boyfriend doesn’t like it because you clearly can’t spell and it looks ignorant or he doesn’t like the name because of the shades of Grey association?
They are gonna expect your kid to be able to spell their name before college… I would not do this to them
He’ll constantly have to correct people about the proper pronunciation, IMHO.
Honestly I don’t like it either… sorry
I’m not a fan but I’ve seen much worse. You need to choose a name you and your husband both love.
this name is a tragedeigh
That’s a hard no for me… but it’s also not my baby.
I dont like it but it’s your son.
So Christian?? Why are you trying to complicate the spelling, it’s atrocious
Will be mispronounced his whole life.
Why do people voluntarily make it so complicated for their children?
There are a plenty of beautiful names that won’t make your son repeat and spell his name a gazillion time throughout his life.
