I feel like a lot of times parents don’t think about the child having to learn to spell and write their own name. I think the pronunciation is cute. The spelling I personally think is a little ridiculous though

Grammar wise - I think the e after the t makes the first i a long i, and not a short i ; different spellings can have different meanings so that should factor into your decision. Agreed it should be easy for your child. My name is not typical by spelling or gender and it frustrated me growing up.

Imagine them trying to write their name in kindergarten. You’re naming a baby not a hamster. Poor kid would be paying to get that changed one day. Don’t do it lol.

Why do people voluntarily make it so complicated for their children?
There are a plenty of beautiful names that won’t make your son repeat and spell his name a gazillion time throughout his life.
