Henry, Samuel and Jack. We have always gotten a good response from people. “My Grandpa’s name was Henry.” “My uncle’s name was Samuel.” Etc. Jack’s middle name is Charles. It was a toss up between Charlie and Jack. So we used both.
I have always thought they were big names. They’ve grown into them.
You can always go old fashioned like Harlon, Eldon, Darwin, Lawrence, Paul, or Daniel.

Only unique names for our kids is the names we hate. There is nobody naming their kids Brad, Kevin, Chris, Tyler, max, etc lol

We looked at names that were popular over 100 years ago. We have an Abram (Abe) and Levi. We also considered Silas, Abel, Douglas, Jed, Oren, and Elias. Really old names.
My son’s name is Keagan which isn’t overly common, my daughters name is Kaylee (which gained alot of popularity about the time she was born 17 years ago). Her boyfriends name is Draven though and I had never heard that one till him. My best friends daughter is named Aislee and that was a new one too.

The social security administration puts out lists of the most common baby names from the year before. I think you can even go by state. If you pull the names from last year and stick to maybe 25 and over, you should be pretty safe
