Mine was around a year when she took interest in the dolls she had.
My baby is 18 months and she’s just now understanding how to play with a doll and putting it in the stroller and what not. But I bought it for her when she was 1, and I think she just eventually learned how to play with it
Each of my sons had a doll. My oldest had Matty Mattel and my youngest had Biff Beans. I wanted them to know how to show love to a baby. They turned out to be loving Dads and more recently a loving grandpa.
Perfect age for a baby doll.
My son didn’t get one at his first birthday so I got him one
My daughters first doll was the barbie doll. My daughter was only 3
1 shes ready my son was walking at 10 months hauling around his sisters baby doll
I got my newborn daughter her first baby doll so when she starts actually playing she has it to sleep with
I think one year is a good age for that. She may not know how to “care” for it yet, but she can hold it and hug it and talk to it.
My daughter has had baby dolls since she was 5 months old, first completely soft and now the cabbage patch cuties
I had my Suzie at birth i threw her away when I was 14… She was dead by then tho lol neck hanging by 3 threads
My son is 10 months and plays with one 🙅
About a year old is when I got my 3 one. I got them one that was kind of soft. So they couldn’t hurt themselves or sister’s with the hard one’s. You know how when they learn to throw stuff they will throw everything all the time. At least my 3 girl’s did. And now my 2.0 year old son does. Having a time with him and his hard little hot wheels car’s and the rest to. I had to tell his daddy he is has enough. No more. But he still gets him one every time he goes to the store!! I don’t say anything about it though. It’s sweet and they bond playing with them.
My son is 1½ and we bought him a small baby at 1. He loves his baby and his sister’s babies too. Learned how to say baby because of them
My daughter is almost 2 years old and she is terrified of dolls. Shes had 2 so far and hates them both lol
Like 2 maybe don’t remember for sure
By 8 months. She loved it
My 15 month old loves her baby’s. For her 1st birthday she got 4 of them and they were her favorite. She now has like 12 of them and drags them all around everyday
I would get a soft baby doll
New born she had dolls. Mostly soft dolls
My kid was like 10 months when she got her first baby doll, she just turned two and she has like 10 baby dolls between 3 houses. Just you wait until she asks you to babysit! I said no and she put them in a dog crate it’s fun to watch babies parent
take her to the store to she is she likes any of the dolls my lo loves them but some kids could care less about them.
Baby’s first Christmas.
My son loved dolls. I just bought him standard dolls.
She will be 6mo in december and her grandma is getting her one
My son was around 6 months I believe
At one year. A playmate named the doll Tasha and three months later my LO cant let go of ‘Tacha’
“Santa” brought my daughter a my life doll. It has red hair just like her. It’s a life like doll with brushable hair. Wal-Mart’s version on the American girl dolls. We got that last year my lil one was only 1 she loved it still does. They have so much you can get with them and its not majorly expencive and a great gift to build on each year.
It varies on your child… no age requirement
My daughter had a totally fabric one by like… 6 months? She loved it until she was about 3, when she acquired a couple plastic ones. Get your baby a doll, just be intelligent about potential choke hazards with the doll and its accessories
A baby doll is good they love to hold their own baby.
Ours was for their first holiday. Easter, Christmas ect…
I’m giving my baby girl one for Christmas. She will be 9 months around Christmas. I let her choose. Today I went to the disney store due to they having an early black friday deal so the baby dolls are $22 and put there dolls on the floor with her she had so many choices so I put down 2 at a time and the one she went for I would keep there and would set her back in place and let her at it again till we went through every doll lol took like 20 mins but once she found her doll she didnt wanna lose it lol. For almost the whole time she wanted moana till we placed the ariel doll (really colorful) so I’m probably gonna go back and get her a moana doll as well lol.
Scentsy carries baby dolls now. Perfect for little girls of all ages. I’d be happy to help you can dm me.
Baby dolls are for all ages. If she’s younger, choose one appropriate for the age so that theres no parts or pieces that could hurt her/him.
My daughter got a baby her first xmas and she was born the 21st of december
A small, soft baby doll in pjs is nice. She can cuddle with it.
She had one the day she left the hospital
I got my daughter a doll for her first birthday. I got her a Bitty Baby from the American Girl doll company.
I bought one for my niece for her first Christmas and she loved it!

Babies love babies! Get her one ASAP. Lol
My youngest granddaughter was nine months old.
About 1 years old. No special brand I did get a soft doll so if she fell with it, she wouldn’t get hurt plus it was machine washable
I got mine one as soon as I knew it was a girl💜
My girls already had theirs when they were still.in my stomach
Just a tiny baby doll would be perfect. My daughter loved baby dolls and her grandma always got her one for Christmas until last year. She got my old play kitchen from when I was a kid. That thing was ancient. But whatever you do, do not get a kissing or giggling babydoll. Those things are freaking demon possessed. My daughter got that for her birthday one year. Ugh! Itd blow kisses out of nowhere and giggle at night. Nope!
Buy her just a simple baby doll.
With todays children i dont know. My grandchildren were so afraid of dolls they had to be removed from the bedrooms they slept in. My daughter’s played with dolls at an early age.
I remember getting her first cabbage patch for Christmas when she was 20 months and she adored it but I know she had some soft dolls before that. She’s always loved babies, even now at 7 years old.
My daughter got her first one at 3 months old for Christmas. It was a complete soft body baby. Then as she got bolder we got her bigger ones.
Our daughter recieved multiple dollies on her first Christmas at a year old. Because we bought her 2 13" dolls and then her aunts and gramma got her some too. Unfortunately she loves them but never kept the clothes on. Absolutely she is old enough for a baby doll but remember her being young you dont want one as tall as her but one that will fit in her arms. The 12" to 13" are perfect for this age. We got ours from Amazon, but I see Walmart has them cheaper then what we paid.
My daughter will be 6 months in 2 days… and she has this baby doll and she’s getting one for Christmas too
Buy It Now. She’s Never To Young For A Baby Doll.
Baby doll ok too buy even at infant age. Save it back. She’ll appreciate it one day. Her first doll
I got my daughter a $2.88 one at Walmart and she just tried to eat her
My daughters got theirs as babies or about age 1 and they loved and played with them the most from about age 1- about 6.
I dont think there is a set age my daughter just turned two and I got her the first one last xmas she loves her baby dolls
Honey don’t be upset if she plays with the box more than the baby mine did lol
6 months. She’s 14 months now and still loves it.
Kandy La’don Bryson right. I have 2 kids both girls and they wanted to play with the box more than the actual toy. Lol
A snuggly cloth one. She’ll still try to eat it & drool on it. But, at least, you can wash it.
Both my girls got their first one at 1
My baby have received a doll when she was 1. She loves her baby and treats her as such. Now for christmas she will get n doll that drinks bottel and pee pee in potty. Preferable a doll that she can bath with as some time they refuse to bath and the baby will help oit a lot
I got mine before age 5 I’ve had her for as long as I can remember I still have her now I’m 29 I always wanted to give it to my daughter if i ever have one but i have all boys soo shes expertly tucked away somewhere safe.
