I’m 14 weeks pregnant and find out in 2 weeks if I’m having a boy or a girl. we have a girl name (she will be named after my mother who recently passed from cancer). however, bf and I can’t decide on a boy name. we’ve decided we definitely want an irish name if it’s a boy, but neither of us agree on anything. any suggestions?! thank you!

My oldest was gonna be Tristan Gallagher, but my hubs already had a son named Tristan so I named him Levi lol
Why don’t you each pick a name and put it in hat reach in and pick one out without looking
My sons are Patrick and Ryan. I’ve also always loved the name Shane. Good luck! -Sarah💐
You can always Google Irish boy names.
One pick the first name, then the other choose middle name that’s how we did it
Logan
Patrick
those are some
Laughlin…pronounced Locklin
16 weeks seems a tad early for gender
Google unique Irish boy names. That’s how we found my son’s name
Declan is a great Irish name for a boy.
I have Kian he is Maori/English but I couldn’t think of any other boys name I liked and Kian Thomas stood out. My grandad was William Thomas so he has his middle name.
My sons name is the Irish Kieran but I changed the spelling to be Kiran to be different but not to off the wall
Well I also like Liam but those first couple of names I am definitely not a fan of and you must remember people need to know how to pronounce them and spell them and when they go to school they shouldn’t have a name that’s so far out of bounds that nobody knows how to pronounce it
Is there a variation of your mom’s name you could use?
I like Daniel Frank roger.
Liam. I am pregnant with a boy. His name will be Liam. My mom was named lia. Her middle initial was m. LiaM. she passed away in 2016

I’m not sure what kind of name it is, but I always loved Winston, since it’s my fathers middle name, I will definitely use it if I ever have a boy.

Eamon is Irish for Edmond, pronounced Amon and it isn’t grandson’s name
Since you have a girl name picked out after someone, maybe do the same for the boy. So sorry for your loss! Also, I love my son’s name, I had the same problem and my sis in law named my son, Kayden!
