I have a question that bothers me a lot. What nappies are the best for potty training Lovies or Huggies because? My boy is on Huggies now, but it doesn’t seem to work.
I found it best to just let them be naked or wear underwear. Diapers/pull ups do not help.
No pull ups. With all 5 we went right into undies because when we tried pull ups they just used them like a diaper.
Just plan underwear . They will just use the pull up like a diaper. Just buy a couple packs cause you will be changing them a lot. But he will get the hang of it.
I used pampers. My daughter didn’t associate them with diapers so I guess I was lucky. Idk. Either way, they were great and what really helped was a reward chart/game I made. She was potty trained in less than a week
We went straight to underwear with all 3 of ours. We had 2 bed wetters so I got a waterproof sheet 1 or 2 times of waking up in a puddle of pee stopped the bed wetting
So after potty training two boys…
First. If he’s not ready then he’s not ready. It doesnt matter what you put him in. He’ll still have accidents.
If he is ready then you’re better off exclusively using underwear when at home during the day.
They do make some with padding to help minimize accidents.
When you’re out and at bedtime it’s still a good idea to use pullups.
Once he gets the hang of going start phasing out pullups. If you’re running to the store then leave the undies. Ect
My youngest is at the point where we only put pullups on him for drives that are longer than 45 minutes and at bedtime.
Most of the time now…he tells us he has to potty but we dont always “make it” on the longer drives.
I had to go without with my daughter because she would be lazy .
Cloth diapers honestly
The brand you use is not going to make a difference
We use special underwear with like a thicker pad in them for accidents. At night he wears a pull up or if we go away. He wants a diaper though for number 2 but if hes grouchy he wont use the potty so its a diaper all day. He does good so im not gona fight with him if he is having a bad day and doesnt want to go.
