Does anyone have any advice for this. So I have been struggling a lot lately with what I believe to be a hormonal imbalance. Everything just feels completely off. I don’t have health insurance because they take way too much out of every paycheck for it and I make too much money to get help from the state. I was going to get it, but a week ago I got a notice from my apartment property manager saying that the landlord is raising our rent $300 and we have a week to decide. Basically we don’t have the option to move because 1 there isn’t anything better in our location, 2 my credit is below 600 so I will never get approved for another apartment at this time, and 3 I don’t want to risk becoming homeless because I may not find another place in 2 months. So now I’m getting stuck in a year lease paying $300 a month more in rent so I can’t really afford to add health insurance. What do I do I really feel like I need to see a doctor about these issues.
Have you had your thyroid checked
If it is hormonal a lot of insurance will not cover it anyways or maybe it does but still not affordable. My coworker was paying 500+ out of pocket for hers and we have decent health insurance. Could you go to the public health clinic, most have a sliding scale so it’s cheaper.
I’m not sure what state you live in but I would think you should have received at least a 30day notice of the increase and based on the percentage it was raised sounds like you should have received a 60day notice that’s a huge increase I’m sorry hope things get better❤️
Check with your local health department
I have the same after having 4 children. Vitamin supplements helps a lot! I even just started with magnesium in my water and I noticed a change in 3 days. We do grounding every day now and take extra vitamin d and c. I’m so sorry your going through this.
Prayers for you in Jesus mighty name Amene
Sounds like you could be having thyroid issues hunny exactly hiw I felt had test done and yep thyroid was and is the problem I hope you can get some help with this sooner than later
Your county should have a building where they give u a type of insurance like state, but for moms and babys. Ours is the building the wic program is in for mothers. This portion of insurance covers mental, and women’s health. It’s just a branch of the state insurance so they are more lenient. Also they probably can tell you a list of places that help with energy assistance, renters assistance, ect that you may qualify for and ya just don’t know it yet
Check with your local health department. They normally offer a sliding scale fee. It’s based off your income and how many dependants. I don’t qualify for state assistance because they say I make to much $ with 2 kids but I do qualify for the sliding scale so it’s worth a try.
Instagram account called Nourished Hormones, start following her. Hydrate, eat lots of protein, do whatever exercise makes you happy. Your situation is very stressful I hope it eases for you soon. ((HUGS))
I am not sure where you live but I take Estrosense it is a herbal over the counter vitamin from my green acres store, I think Wal-Mart has some hormone pills you could try also.
Since your rent has increased reapply for state insurance. They take into consideration your rent when figuring your qualifications
You can see if your local clinic has a sliding scale program. They base it off your income.
Check into coverd california insurance as well.
Talk to your local dhs office about any free or low income clinics. Reapply for medicaid
First of all a week notice by manager??? The law says the owner has to give a written notice at least 30 days in advance and an extra 300??? seriously??? also some clinics offer a payment plan with a sliding scale based on your income .
