What do you guys make for dinner?! I’m tired of making the same things over and over. Please please please I need some motivation!!
Omg I feel this to my core! Here are some of my out of the norms :
Thanksgiving casserole (green beans casserole with shredded chicken, stuffing topped with the onion strings)
Sausage, cabbage and potato soup
Korean beef and rice
Salisbury meatballs and mash potatoes
Tarragon chicken crepes: Shredded chicken, celery, onions and tarragon in white (bechamel) sauce rolled in crepes. Use 2x the liquid for Bisquick pancakes and make thin crepes. Put in freezer. Make white sauce (melt butter & flour, add milk, stir until thickened). Cook chopped onions & celery in butter. Add shredded cooked chicken, combine with white sauce and add tarragon to taste. Thaw crepes in microwave 10-15 seconds (makes them pliable). Fill crepes with mixture, roll them up and put in greased pan. Cook in oven until heated through and a bit crispy.
Easy dinner: Tasty Bite or Palak’s Indian food in packets + brown Basmati rice in packets. Cook each 90 seconds in the microwave. Garnish with shredded coconut, almonds, peanuts or cashews if you want. Add chicken if you don’t want vegetarian. Fresh fruit and naan bread make it a nice meal.
We have 3 kids so we keep it simple. Monday-pasta with meat sauce and Caesar salad
Tuesday-tacos
Wednesday- pork chops or steak with rice and some sort of vegetable
Thursday- cutlets with mashed potatoes and Greek salad.
Friday- pork chops or steaks (whichever we didn’t have on Wednesday) with veggies
Weekends- make or order pizzas, homemade burgers and fries with a salad, pasta, my other half and 1 child like KD with hotdogs but the other 3 remaining don’t, so we freestyle!
Pot roast, ham, cubed steak, chicken enchiladas, pork roast
