My boys are out of school for the summer and they have pretty much eaten all the groceries in two days. What are yall buying for summer snacks?
Gummies, little bites muffins, Uncrustables, chips, cheese balls, Popsicles, fruits ect. But I’ve noticed my kids 14 and 9 eat more when they’re “bored” they won’t starve so i limit what snacks they get. Or I’d be buying snacks every other day.
Just make them a lunch box and that’s it. If they hungry then they can have a peice of fruit from the fruit bowl
Grass fed beef jerky, raisins, fruit, graham crackers, veggie sticks (like chips or real strips of carrots, celery, cucumber, peppers), then some not so healthy choices for them to choose every so often like cookies, chips, etc
Solely fruit Jerky and other dried fruit, yogurt covered raisins, granola bars and fresh fruit of course
I’ve been making fruit and veggies trays also with yogurt.
Nothing lol then there’s not extra to eat!
I send my kids to their dad for the summer. I make it his problems
Nothing really. I give them their balanced meals. They have a fruit and yogurt with every meal. If they are really hungry in the evenings then they can have some fruit. But they don’t really get snacks when they are in school as it is when they come home so they eat a lot with their meals.
My grands like grapes, strawberries, apples and watermelon. For salty snacks I buy the chip assortment from Costco and cheez its.
