For me it’s dry throat. I have to have a water bottle by my bed.

You might be allergic to something. If you have animals such as cat this would happen

Allergies maybe. I pop a pillow under my mattress to raise it a bit.

Please go to the dr!!! I have sleep apnea and have a clap to wear when I sleep! Sure helps!

If you have an air conditioner in your room, it can cause to much dry air. Also if the filter is dirty it can cause and increase in post nasal drip.
Could be sleep apnea.
Could be night terrors, gasping then coughing.

Acid comming into your throat and mouth while sleeping

My kids have always done this especially during the winter months and it’s allergies. Liquid loratidine and Flonase spray. They also typically get a summer cold that brings it on but that one will go away. The winter one lasts the entire season

Sleep apnea, allergies & post nasal drip are just a few things that can cause this. You need to address this with your dr asap.

You left out important details like age or if this person is ever exposed to cigarette smoke. List possible exposures and all other known symptoms if any and I bet you will get more helpful answers.

Acid? Apnea? Allergies? Get checked out

Usually Apnea or reflux. But you’d know if it was reflux. Get a sleep study done.

Seasonal allergies = nasal drip = cough so bad our son was throwing up. We flush his nose with saline spray and take allergy meds evernight.

I’am making over $153 an hour working online with 2 kids at home. I never thought I’d be able to do it but my best friend earns over $ 18766 a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless
