What can cause late periods?

Probably super weird but idk where else to ask. So I’m 7 days late, had some pinkish spotting for 4 days not constant and just like once or twice each day. Then yesterday had more reddish like I was actually starting. Then absolutely nothing so fat today. I’ve had my tubes tied for 2 Years almost. Any ideas? I’m fairly used to being a few days late but I’ve never had this happen.

Stress can cause late periods

Stress and hormone changes

I didn’t have one for 45 days because my prolactin levels were too high

Tubes can come undone for the first five years. Even if they haven’t, you can have an ectopic pregnancy. Your best bet is to check with a doctor.

Call your doctor for advice

When I had irregular bleeding it turned out to be uterine polyps.
If it goes on for much longer just get checked out to be on the safe side

My sister in law had her tubes tied then 2 years later she got pregnant

Stress or any number of things

Happens to me I had my tubal in 08 was stress😬

What does the doctor say?

Unfortunately, almost anything can cause late periods - if you know you’re not pregnant… it can be caused from stress (also depression, constant anxiety, etc), currently/recently sick, unbalanced hormones, ovarian cysts, more/different extra (or non) curricular activities - even recent tubal can cause your future periods to become weird. The list can go on. It could be that you were late and did start, but it was super light - I’ve had my tubes done 8 years ago and I get periods like that from time to time… I’ll be late and have a very light flow, then my next period will be on track. If you’re worried, call your doctor.

Stress, hormones, diet, anxiety, there’s a lot that could factor into it. Consult a doctor.

i was diagnosed with pcos recently n have irregular periods. make a dr appt

Having your tubes tied doesn’t mean that you absolutely can’t get pregnant so taking a test might be a good idea. It could also be stress, diet…keep an eye on it. Spotting usually doesn’t mean anything but sometimes it can.

Stress can be the biggest cause to interrupting menstrual cycle but would get test just to rule things out especially having having an operation big or small

Still take a test because tube tying can fail, can also increase risk of ectopic .

But multiplw things can change your cycle, stress, illness, onset of menopause symptoms just to name a few

Maybe you have uterine fibroids. They can cause your period to stop or be heavy and continue for
Months

How old are you?? Premenopausal?? Menopausal??

Take a pregnancy test, seriously. Your tubes being tied can fail. It happens.
