So I have had this annoying cough for going on a month now. I never went and was seen for it. It just won’t go away! Some days I have full blown cough attacks and it sounds very barky and just obnoxious and irritating! And other days it’s just there but not terrible. But regardless it won’t go away! Some days I can cough mucus up and other days it’s just a dry cough. I don’t know what this is or why it’s hanging on for so long! I have 3 young kids and really don’t want to have to go to the walk in and tote them along by myself! Has anyone had something like this and know what it is? Or similar experiences?

I just got over something like this. I had it for about 3 weeks. I had to get inhalers and antibiotics to help, but it was the exact same way. Sometimes mucus sometimes I couldn’t cough up anything. Kept me up at night too. Soooo annoying!
Yes, this cough is going around and does linger a long time…Broncho stop pastilies do help, hot drinks, water…I caught the cough off my Nephew day after new years day, its mostly gone now but still comes back some times x
I recently had random coughing fits throughout the day, it was mainly a dry cough, sometimes I did cough up mucas and my nose also ran when I coughed. I woke up one morning and it hurt to breathe so I went to the doctor and I had bronchitis. You need to go to the doctor for the cough before your lungs give out incase there is an infection.
Just take the kids and go to the clinic.

It may seem strange, but when I had something like that, I took probiotics, and after a few days the cough disappeared…
Allergy meds and an inhaler have helped me.
Lots of tea and honey. Lemon water. Gargle warm salt water. Steam showers and try to hack up the mucus.
