What can I do about my pregnancy headaches?

What do you do to help with pregnancy headaches? I do ice and Tylenol but I hate having to take medication like this while pregnant. I do my best to stay hydrated and have a little caffeine in the day. Any other helpful tips?

Sometimes that is all that can help. I got bad headaches first trimester and took the fast relief Tylenol and it worked. I had to eat too before getting headache because I knew it was coming if I didn’t hurry to eat. In your case, I would try an organic remedy and use peppermint oil on your temples :slight_smile:

Please do talk to your ob if even Tylenol isn’t helping. Sometimes they have good recommendations, and if none of them work it could be important to be tested for other things. I have chronic migraines and am used to them, but with my last pregnancy it turned out that I had pre-eclampsia, luckily it was figured out and no health risks for me or baby, but it’s always safest

I sprinkle a little sea salt in my water when I feel headachy from being dehydrated.

I took magnesium oxide to help prevent them from
