How to help a gassy baby with air in their bellies? **Mylocin hasn’t helped
I always laid them on my lap, face down, belly sort of hanging between my legs… while rocking back and forth and rubbing their backs, seemed to help that and the of course the bicycle kicks too.
A little better baking soda and water
Bicycle kicks and then push both legs towards tummy… always worked for my daughter
I gave my baby nectar, I think plum… cut it with water… of course that was over 30 yrs ago.
Sit cross legged on the floor, sit bubs in the cross of your legs then gently rock back and forth with your hand on their belly
Bicycle kicks, belly massages and lots of bouncing. Tinyyyy drops of plum juice if it’s constipation as well
I used to get some shortening and mix baking soda…(small amount) then lay them face up and rub with both hands in a downward motion from sides of ribcage towards the center. Then wrap a warm towel snug around their belly and lay baby face down on your legs and tap tap tap lightly…worked every time! Baby will get relief then will sleep soundly. - My mom and mil taught me that.
When my grand twins were babies, we used Gripe water in their bottles.
Sit baby on your leg. And lean baby forward, with supporting around the chin with hand. Gentally bounce your knee and rub babys back.
Bicycles
PLEASE check with your pediatrician before giving your baby any of these suggestions!!
Boil onion let cool put in bottel
Hold the baby facing away from your body belly on your fore arm hand holding opposite leg up a lil like farting position walk n bounce a lil up n dwn w a lil pressure on belly
Push their legs up into their tummy gently then pull them back down and repeat. Also something that really helped my daughters was to lay them across my legs and pat their back, idk why but it helped them so much and my youngest was super gassy all the time. Side note: my middle daughter was really gassy until we switched her to lactose free formula, turns out she is allergic to milk ( not lactose intoerant) and switching her did wonders!
Peppermint water ( but with the red and white candies only!!! NOT PEPERMINT EXTRACT!!!)
Massage the soles of the feet. Find a reflexologist who will be able to show you how.
I don’t mean to be rude but did u give it before every feed? For over 2 weeks? We tried the same drug and once I gave it correctly and continuously it started working
Try not to get so much air in when bottle feeding. After pat back lightly so baby can burp.
Peppermint water and sugar! Best results!
Learn baby massage. The ILU massage is amazing for gas… And works on adults too.
Nothing helped my child expect Burping them really really well! Refusing to give them more when I know there is a bubble in there. It sucks because of the extra crying and they just want the bottle back, but it had to be done… he was miserable if not.
Burp more often. Make sure all burped out. Unfortunately nothing else worked for my daughter
We used gripe water for just about all of it
Try gripe water, we had the same problem with our daughter when she was younger and gripe water was the only thing that helped, it saved our sanity
Baby probiotic worked for my child.
