What can I do for an abcessed tooth?

My son is 11 months old and it looks like his gum is abscessed has anybody else dealt with this before and does it look like that

Probably infection. My daughter had them but she had teeth. Take him to dentist and they’ll assess it and probably prescribe some antibiotics

That can actually be completely normal when teething. I forget what it’s called, but I know it’s not uncommon. Let me try and find specifically what it is that I’m thinking of/that looks like. :slightly_smiling_face:

If its a white circle then its an abscess put bonjela on it

This can happen before the teeth erupt.If your not happy see the dentist,but I’d just say some paracetamol Suspension if it’s causing pain.Im a qualified Dental Nurse but not worked in practice for a while.

Totally normal for a blister to form before the tooth erupts through. Should erupt through within the week.

Looks like the tooth is going to come in soon. Molars come in before the canines. The gums can look white, bloody and painful inside. If you’re concerned get it checked out though.
