What can I do for my infants dry skin?

My 3 week old has a lot of dry skin, especially his head. Anything I can do to help??

Sounds like baby might have some cradle cap. Apply breast milk to the area affected. Breast milk has so many benefits that you wouldn’t believe.

I made soap with my milk and it has done wonders and just applying lotion as often as you can. The aveeno eczema is good too. As far as on babies head could be cradle cap don’t pick. Just way and comb as normal and it’ll go away. I know there are cradle cap combs you could try they. I just never have so no personal review.

Babies skin peels after they are born and do get dry bc they are used to being in the womb with fluids. On the head is probably cradle cap, take a soft brush or tooth brush when you are washing and brush a little…it will eventually all come off. The skin just keep baby lotion or breast milk on it as other have stated.

It’s normal. Use aveeno baby lotion
