What can I do to fade my stretch marks?

Kind of random - but have any of you ladies found a cream/lotion/ect that helps fade scratch marks and tightens the mama pouch? I had my 2nd baby almost 15 months ago and I’m ready to try to fade these stripes a little.

Unfortunately nothing. No cream, no Lazer will ever remove them. They are scars.

I use cocoa butter and vitamin e. Helps a little. As for tightening I do crunches

while they’ll never go away, yes you definitely can fade them! I’ve had 3 babies and have a skin condition that causes scarring.
the biggest key is a routine skincare that you stay on top of daily. good quality lotions with aloe and vit e and c are good choices, use daily each morning and as needed for dryness.
I use Palmers everything scar oil nightly, also while I sleep for the dark discoloration the silicone scar patches reduced color fast in like 2 weeks.
… so yes, you can never rid yourself of them but also don’t listen to the discouragement of others disappointment bc they haven’t been able to effectively manage it. it’s very possible and true to fade them right down to barely being noticeable.

Mine are more flesh toned now at almost a year pp. I use coconut oil. You can tighten the area with a sweat belt.

Palmers will help lighten them up!

Scars and stretch marks can fade somewhat with regular applications of vitamin rich topical treatments but nothing will eliminate them other than surgical removal of the affected skin. My dermatologist recommended BioOil for mine which was as effective as one could reasonably expect from a topical treatment. Nothing topical will “tighten the mom pooch”. Collagen and elastin are responsible for holding the skin together. When the skin is stressed beyond the limits of existing elastin bands, those bands snap resulting in jagged sections of thinned skin that will never fully recover. Stretch marks are normal and stigmas about them need to dissolve.

I just used bio oil. I still have all of them, but they’re significantly lighter in colour.
As for thr tightening, balanced meals and exercise. Sometimes genetics play a part and you won’t get rid of it, but shrink it a bit.

I swear by Bio Oil. It took my deep deep red stretch marks (from being fat pre pregnancy :joy::joy:) and turned them almost the same color of my skin. It’s not a quick process but after about 8mo to a year of using it they’ve faded tremendously!
